This is a new 150 Amp 1-Wire Alternator. All you need to do is connect an output cable from the rear post to the battery and you are done. (Also see our store listing for our 200, 250, and 300 amp 1-Wire versions) 

We build these units to provide 115 amps at an idle. That's as much as the original units put out at high RPM. It will plug in to most OEM wiring harnesses for GM vehicles from 1992-2000. Our high output alternator can also be used to upgrade most original externally and internally regulated alternators from 1963 through 2002 year models. This unit is great for applications requiring additional charging capacity such as auxiliary batteries, stereo systems, off-road lighting, etc.
